The inaugural ceremony of the new academic year of Lourdes English Medium School, Kanajar was held on 3rd June 2024 in a formal function for classes Nursery to X. The students presented a prayer dance and the traditional lighting of the lamp set a positive tone for the occasion.
Along with the Joint Secretary, Rev. Fr Harold Pereira, the P T A President , Mr. Sachidananda Prabhu and Mr. Stany Saldanha , the Vice President of PPC were present on the stage . Mrs. Jasmine Pinto, the Principal gave a gist on the theme of the year ‘Inspire to Illuminate’. The Joint Secretary in his message stated that only inspired person can inspire the others so we need to make use of all the opportunities that come on our way to learn and to Illuminate .
The dignitaries felicitated the students of grade –X (2023-24) for achieving 100% results in ICSE Board Examination. The Teachers and newly joined students were introduced. The Teachers performed a dance on the theme ‘Inspire and Illuminate’. The teachers, Mrs. Vinaya S Shetty welcomed the gathering, Mrs. Sulochana gave vote of thanks and Mrs. Sunitha Mendonsa compered the programme . The programme was ended with School Anthem.
